Accentuation

An accented note is a note which is played more loudly than the others, bringing out the bassline, giving it dynamic, colorful and expressive qualities. Accentuation is indicated by the symbol “>” and, no matter the style, it will give your groove performance “that certain something”. This course provides a video demonstration example and two technical exercises with their corresponding recordings, as well as eight grooves and basslines you can play along to backing tracks.
