Elementary Ternary Drum Solos

For drum soloing very few technical means are needed – provided you know how to skillfully exploit basic acquirements, how to orchestrate imaginatively on the different drum elements and how to best make use of the multiple tone colors generated by, for instance, full strokes, buzz rolls, or change of dynamics or accentuation. Here simple ideas played in a ternary way are orchestrated. This course provides a video demonstration example, three technical exercises with their corresponding recordings, as well as seven drum solos you can play along to backing tracks.
