Heavy Metal Basslines

This assortment of heavy metal basslines is performed in the style of the irreplaceable Iron Maiden, Symphony X, Stratovarius, Manowar, Angra, and many more. To achieve these simple but highly effective basslines, it’s better to use a plectrum and mainly employ downstrokes so that you can attack more forcefully. You will be offered the opportunity to play very deep sounds, rhythms essentially based on eighth notes, which demand uniformity and endurance, as well as roots/tonics a plenty. This course provides ten complete heavy metal basslines with their corresponding recordings and just as many “made-to-measure” backing tracks which you can use to play along to – as though you actually were in a band!
