Legato Techniques (Hammer-on & Pull-off)

Legato or articulation techniques allow you to play several notes with only one right hand stroke, smoothing the connection between the notes. A hammer-on enables you to play two consecutive ascending (low to high) notes, whereas a pull-off enables you to play two consecutive descending (high to low) notes. These left hand techniques are intrinsically tied to guitar effects. This course places at your disposal a video of the first combination (which is meant to be reproduced with all the other fingerings), three technical exercises and their corresponding recordings, as well as seven licks, meant to be played along with just as many different backing tracks.
