Jazz brushes are used very often, especially in jazz and world music. They lend subtlety to your drum playing. The deciding factor is the mastering of the gestures: the bristles can either scrape the head of the drum in a horizontal manner, from left to right (--->) and from right to left (<---), or in a circular clockwise manner (<--->). This course provides a video demonstration example and a technical exercise with its corresponding recording, as well as nine drum grooves you can play along to backing tracks.
