A minor 7th arpeggio (m7) consists of a root/tonic, a minor third, a perfect fifth and a minor seventh. If you transpose its five chord diagrams into a different key, the tonic (white circle) will be your point of reference. Especially in rock, pop, heavy metal or jazz, minor 7th arpeggios are the ideal melodic tool for comping (accompanying) minor 7th chords. This course provides a video of the five positions of the minor 7th arpeggio, a technical exercise to get accustomed to them, and nine grooves and basslines for putting them into practice by playing them along to backing tracks.
