Playing Minor Arpeggios

Arpeggios carried out by either hand and used often in both accompaniments and improvisations are technically and harmonically absolutely vital for pianists. The minor arpeggio (or minor triad) is made up of a root, a minor third and a perfect fifth and so fits wonderfully into a minor chord environment. As you can tell from the practice licks, the minor arpeggio can be applied in a wide variety of musical styles such as blues, rock, pop and jazz. This course gives you the opportunity to take a look at the minor arpeggios in different keys, to study them with three technical exercises (with corresponding recordings), and finally to play them along to backing tracks with seven licks.
