Playing with a Pick

Nowadays more and more bassists are playing with a pick, also known as a plectrum. Because of the sharp attacks and the balanced, powerful sound it provides, you can find it in almost every musical style: rock, blues, heavy metal, etc. By using our course, you will hone your pick technique and learn how to apply it musically. This course provides a video demonstration example and a technical exercise with its corresponding recording, as well as nine grooves and basslines you can play along to backing tracks.
