Slow Blues Grooves

This assortment of slow blues drum grooves is performed in the style of B.B. King, ZZ Top, Buddy Guy, Stevie Ray Vaughan, and many more. Within these grooves you will employ jazz brushes, strike the closed hi-hat on the afterbeat, and emphasize snare drum strokes. The slow, ternary tempi, which are very difficult to hold, necessitate a high level of concentration and a highly accurate, laid-back timing. This course places ten slow blues drum grooves and the appropriate breaks with their corresponding recordings at your disposal along with just as many “made-to-measure” backing tracks that you can use to play along to – as though you were in a band!
