String Skipping

The practice of string skipping, notably in the context of solo play, allows for great distances between intervals and gives you the possibility to use original and savory melodic formulas. This practice marvelously combines with different right hand techniques (e.g. alternate and hybrid picking) and has applications in all musical styles (rock, metal, jazz, blues, etc.). This course offers you a video demonstration of this approach (on the major scale), 3 technical exercises (on different melodic tools) with the corresponding recordings, as well as 7 licks to be played along to as many different backing tracks.
